Books have always been more than just stories to me—they’re companions, adventures, and safe havens all wrapped in paper and ink. They’ve comforted me on hard days, kept me company on lonely nights, and sparked endless daydreams. As a psychologist, I spend my days helping people navigate the real world, and reading has always been my favorite escape—a chance to step into different lives, feel new emotions, and explore worlds beyond my own.
After years of quietly collecting stories that shaped me, I thought: why not create a little corner of the internet to share them more personally? I already post my reviews on Goodreads, but here, I want to go beyond the rating and share the moments that made me laugh, cry, stay up too late, or fall in love with characters. Nanda’s Little Library is my space to be honest, reflective, and playful about the books I read.
Here, you’ll find a mix of everything I love: swoony romances π that make my heart race, emotional fantasies ππ that tear me apart and put me back together again, timeless classics π that never lose their magic, and the occasional hidden gem ✨ that I stumble upon by accident.
Because every library needs a system, here’s how I’ll be rating my reads:
π ⭐ – ❌ DNF or actively hated it
π ⭐⭐ – π¬ Not good, wouldn’t recommend
π ⭐⭐⭐ – π€· Enjoyable but flawed
π ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – π Loved it, highly recommend
π ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – π€©✨ Obsessed, phenomenal, perfect in every way
I’ll also sprinkle in extra emojis to capture the vibe of each book:
π for books that broke me, π for swoony romances, ππ§ for magical worlds, π for laugh-out-loud reads, and π₯ for those that are a little (or a lot) steamy.
More than just reviews, I want this to be a cozy space where we can celebrate stories together. Maybe you’ll discover your next favorite book here, or maybe you’ll just enjoy the journey of seeing what I’m reading. Either way, you’re very welcome to pull up a chair, grab your favorite drink ☕ or tea π΅, and join me as I turn the pages of my little library.
So here we are, at the beginning of this new chapter. Welcome to my little library—I can’t wait to share it with you.
